• Travellers whose principal purpose for entering Australia is to transit to another country, and whose stopover will be no longer than 72 hours.

• Crew members arriving by air who need to join a non‑military ship within 5 days of arrival.

• Note: Some travellers may be eligible to transit without any visa if they meet narrow conditions (arrival & departure by air, within 8 hours, remain in transit lounge).
